COVID-19 EVENT POLICY

SUNCEBEAT 2021 IS SCHEDULED TO GO AHEAD

PLEASE SEE UPDATE AT BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

Despite the UK Governments confusing messaging given on Thursday 3rd June we are still optimistic that the Event will go ahead this year.

There are lots of causes for optimism, in the UK the vaccination process is still proceeding at pace, hospitalisations and serious illness is now at a very low level and it’s the same across the EU and especially Croatia.

We will be doing everything in our power to ensure the event can happen this summer, for the thousands of you who have booked flights and accommodation and are so looking forward to this and we wish to assure you the safety of everyone in attendance is our absolute priority.

TIMELINE

In the UK we are awaiting for the traffic light system as to when its possible to travel abroad and currently Croatia is on Amber, with the next review expected around June 24th and we are confident that even though Croatia is not on the green list now, it will be by June 28th and we will certainly be hanging on until that date to make any further decisions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should things take a turn for the worse, which the whole world is hoping will not be the case and the event needs to be rescheduled due to Govt regulations, we will move SunceBeat to 2022. All tickets will be carried over to the new dates, however if customers can’t make the new dates in 2022, a refund option will be offered.

Refunds can not be offered for this year whilst Suncebeat 2021 is going ahead.

CROATIA IS READY TO WELCOME YOU

Everyone in Croatia from the Local Mayor, the Government, Tourist board & consulate are working tirelessly behind the scenes to get the event on & you can see more info with Q&A’s HERE Coronavirus 2019-nCoV Q&A (croatia.hr) and below you can find the entry requirements.

URGENT UPDATE FOLLOWING THE UK GOVERNMENTS PRESS CONFERENCE ON MONDAY 14th JUNE

We are all absolutely gutted at the UK's Government's decision to extend restrictions another month until Monday 19th July especially for anybody working in the Events, Hospitality, Travel or airlines sectors, it's heartbreaking for so many good hard working people who's businesses are in danger of closing the doors for good & our heart goes out to everyone.

We always like to look at the positives though & by 19th July nearly all of the UK adult population will have been vaccinated & the promise by Boris Johnson is that we just need one last push & this really is terminus day, the day we get our freedom back.

In the EU everybody will be allowed to travel freely from July 1st & America too & so many of you have booked your tickets, flights & accommodation for SunceBeat 2021, in fact tickets are still selling now & we want to assure you that we are fully committed to getting it on in a few weeks with the full lineup or as near to it as possible as advertised, We are getting amazing support in this respect from all the artists.

Being based in the UK ourselves,we appreciate how stressful it is for anyone attending from the UK especially with the constant goal post changing, However we are sure this will change as the vaccine rollout continues at pace in the UK & Europe, Croatia as a country are really getting there now & cases dropping everyday. We are sure it will all look a lot different by the time we open the doors on 21st July. We fully appreciate though, that this does not help the immediate situation & the uncertainty put upon everyone from the UK & we want to assure you that we will be writing to all ticket holders, with this in mind, as soon as the UK Government make their next travel announcement which is expected on at some stage between 21st & 24th June, we just need to work through everything & we kindly ask for your patience a few more days.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

NEWSFLASH

Some good news coming in whilst by no means certain, the UK Government is examining the possibility of much easier travel in line with the rest of Europe & the USA for fully vaccinated passengers, let's hope we hear more on June 24th which is the projected date for the next travel announcement.
